Commercial licensing

Ilavrita is released under the AGPL-3.0. The AGPL requires that anyone who runs a modified version of Ilavrita as a network service offers the corresponding source to its users.

That obligation does not suit every deployment. A separate commercial licence is intended for organisations that need to embed or redistribute Ilavrita without AGPL source-disclosure obligations.

Terms are not finalised. The commercial licence text, the contributor agreement model and the trademark policy are still under legal review, and nothing in this file is an offer or a grant of rights. Until that review completes, the AGPL-3.0 in LICENSE is the only licence under which Ilavrita is offered.
